These rules are intended to provide a common, easy to understand source for players and storytellers when needed for interacting with Wraiths in the Vampire: The Masquerade Genre.

Retainers
Wraith Retainers are built using the following simplified method of creation.
Attributes 6/4/3 (Max of 10 in any category)
Abilities: 5
Willpower: 3
Corpus: 8
Powers: 2
Each dot the player spends beyond the first gives the retainer an additional five experience traits. These can be spent on attributes, abilities, willpower, or powers. Below is a list of powers available for Wraiths. Each power cost 4 experience traits. In the case of powers that cost blood in Vampire, replace that cost with Corpus.
The powers that can cross the Shroud give the Wraith the ability to affect any living or undead being that it is capable of perceiving.
Any time a Wraith uses a power that crosses the Shroud there is an additional cost of 1 Corpus.
Additionally, all Common Wraiths receive the Powers Possess and Materialize for free (these do not count against the Wraith’s starting powers.
- Heightened Senses: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power crosses the shroud.
- Feral Whispers: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power crosses the shroud.
- Swiftness: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power is used when Wraiths engage in combat in the Land of the Dead.
- Might: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power is used when Wraiths engage in combat in the Land of the Dead.
- Fata Morgana: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power crosses the shroud.
- The Haunting: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power) This power crosses the shroud.
- Phantom Speaker: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Tremens: (As per the Laws of the Night; Revised power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Shadow Play: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Manipulate: (As per the Laws of the Night: Revised power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Stigma: (As per the Storytellers Guide power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Induce Fear: (As per the Sabbat Guide power). This power crosses the shroud.
- Materialize: By spending 1 Corpus, the Wraith may make itself visible in the material world for a single scene or hour. A Wraith may choose to end this power prematurely.
- Possession: (As per Laws of the Night: Revised power). A Wraith must be materialized to use this power. Wraiths may only possess non-Supernatural humans and those Supernatural creatures not presently inhabiting their bodies (via uses of Astral Projection or similar).
