AMST NWoD Rules Report – December 2011

1) Executive Summary

Executive Summary

Wherein Jessica is sick for two weeks, then gets to experience the joy of a car wreck and subsequent concussion.

I) ADDENDUM.

A) Discussions underway for the March 2012 Addendum.
B) Overall, the Addendum has reached a certain degree of stability; I really don’t see any huge changes in it for the rest of the chronicle.

II) BOOKS.

A) Inferno: holding for next chronicle.
B) Shadows of the Unknown: the Sin-Eater Ceremony is pending, and the GRP is chewing on the Supernatural Lore Merit for use for next chronicle.
C) Slasher: holding for next chronicle.
D) Imperial Mysteries: currently under discussion on the Global League, since some of the material (spirits) affects Forsaken as well as Awakening.

III) VENUES.

A) UNIVERSAL

A1) Gradually poking my way through a potential first-draft of the 2013 Universal Addendum.

B) REQUIEM

B1) Working on a thorough overhaul of the Culter Mithras discipline (from Mythologies) for potential use in a plotkit. Planned to have this done by now; car wreck kind of got in the way.

C) FORSAKEN

C1) Mostly discussion on what can be incorporated from the new Mage book, Imperial Mysteries.
C2) A tiny bit of clarification re: Old Blood may be needed in the next Addendum.

D) AWAKENING.

D1) A big, long, messy discussion on Rotes has been permeating Awakening-OOC. We’re following the conversation.
D2) Discussion of what to sanction from Imperial Mysteries also under discussion.

E) LOST.

E1) We may need to add the Death clause of a valid voluntary pledge to the Staking exclusion to the one-shot-kill rule.

F) GEIST.

F1) Stable.

G) CROSS-VENUE.

G1) A discussion regarding Forsaken/Sin-Eater CV is underway (particularly involving Bone Shadows).

IV) GLOBAL RULES PANEL.

A) A slow-down due to the holidays, but they’re continuing to work on the Supernatural Lore draft.

V) PLAYTESTS.

A) We’ve had a request from the AMST-Forsaken for a playtest of Social Combat rules from Mirrors (as opposed to those from Danse Macabre and Invite Only). I’d like to hear from the Global on their thoughts on this.

VI) GAMEPLAY RESOURCES WIKI

A) As always, a work in progress (as any good Wiki should be).

Truth told, the concussion has knocked my memory for a loop, and I’m reviewing e-mails to try to get back on base.
